TERMS & CONDITIONS
BOOKING CONDITIONS
When you confirm your booking, with your deposit payment, you are entering into a holiday rental contract between yourself (herein known as the Guest) and the Owner of the property (T&L Escapes Ltd). With the payment of your deposit, you agree to the Terms and Conditions. Please read the below thoroughly and contact our representative for any clarity required.
BOOKING
The Guest making the booking is solely responsible for the Terms and Conditions hereunder. They must ensure all details of the persons in the Guest Party are advised to the Owner, and is also required to provide their own full home address, email and contact phone number. The booking will not be confirmed until the full deposit and Guest information has been received.
DEPOSIT/PAYMENT
Upon booking your stay, you will be required to make a payment for at least 20% of the rental price. The remainder of the price, along with any damage deposit needed, is due to be paid in full 6 weeks prior to your holiday commencement date. If the date for your stay is within 6 weeks, the full balance will be due upon booking.
If the full balance has not been received at the 6 week date, the Owner reserves the right to cancel the booking, and any deposit paid will be forfeited.
It is the Guests responsibility to arrange any holiday insurance, for cancellations etc.
The Owner accepts payment either by direct bank transfer, or Paypal*.
*Any Paypal charges are to be paid by the Guest
DAMAGE DEPOSIT
If a damage deposit is required, this will be refunded within 7 days following the end of the stay, upon satisfaction that there is no loss, breakages, excessive cleaning needed at the property. Any damage costs exceeding the damage deposit fee will be fully reimbursed by the Guest within 7 days of notification.
SERVICES
The Owner cannot be held responsible for any outages of utilities such as water, electricity etc, but we will make every effort to see the failure is corrected as soon as possible.
The guest has a responsibility to ensure that they do not use excessive amounts of any utilities.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
The Guest is not to sublet the property, or exceed the stated maximum party size. The property is only available to the people as detailed on the Booking Form, and no additional persons are permitted.
Failure to comply with this term is classed as a serious infringement of the Terms and Conditions, and the Owner reserves the right to refuse access to the property, or to end the hire without notice.
GUESTS OBLIGATIONS
You are expected to take reasonable care of the property and its contents, and are responsible for any payments for damage. Please leave the property and it’s contents in the same state of repair as they were when you arrived, and in a clean and tidy condition. Cleaning equipment and products are provided. Please ensure that the wood burner, oven and cooking utensils are left clean. Guests are liable for any unreasonable cleaning or redecoration costs, damage to the property (fixtures/fittings/furniture), and breakages during the period of rental. You should contact the owner as soon as any problem arises, to enable it to be speedily resolved. Please also advise the owner of any breakages, so that they can be replaced in time for the next Guests stay.
The property is strictly non-smoking, and smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas.
Guests are requested to respect our Environmental Policies, including recycling and waste disposal. You are responsible for ensuring that all waste is correctly placed in the appropriate bins which are as detailed in our Guest Information file. The file will also detail collection days for the bins, which we would like for you to take into consideration.
SAFETY
Please ensure that, upon your arrival, you familiarise yourself with the property and the emergency procedures and Fire Plans. Areas outside can become slippery during cold and wet weather.
It should also be taken into consideration that the property is based in a very rural area of Snowdonia National Park, and the surrounding fields may contain livestock.
You are welcome to contact the owner prior to booking to discuss any safety and access concerns if you have special mobility needs, or small children.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
Unless otherwise agreed, the letting commences at 3.00pm on the day of arrival, and ends at 10.00am on the day of departure. Prior to departure, please ensure that you have all of your belongings and that all food and rubbish is removed from the property. All windows and doors should be locked.
Please do not attempt to change the keypad code or tamper with the mechanism, as this will result in breakage.
LINENS
Linens and towels are provided, and beds are fully made up and ready for your arrival. Tea towels and dishcloths are provided for the kitchen.
NON-AVAILABILTY
In the unlikely event that the property becomes unavailable following confirmation of booking or changes are necessary, the Owner undertakes to notify the Guest as soon as reasonably possible, and reserve the right to cancel the booking and refund all monies paid to them.
